A beautiful step back in time
The Film Location Fuqua Farm, is a simple farm house believed to be built in mid to late 1780's to early 1800's.
Fuqua Farm was originally two, one room Huguenot style plan houses with loft bedrooms joined together in late 1890's to early 1900's. It has five fire places, three of them are arched; one being in the cooking cellar with full english brick bond below the later home. This home was restored with careful precision, even maintaining the original style plaster walls.
The property has remained in the Fuqua family for over two hundred years and still remains with a 7th generation direct Fuqua family member.
This home has been the host of a variety of film and TV productions and strives to provide a film friendly environment. Surrounded in acres of fields and woods most of which are available for production filming, as well as photograghy, this location has become a hub for the local film industry. We also have a large inventory of props available to rent; please see the For Rent tab on the main menu for availability.
There is convenient parking, as well as a comfortable, screened gazebo with electricity for the cast and crew to enjoy and relax.
We offer reasonable rates, based on your productions budget needs.
